SHD Accounting Day 2025: Digital Solutions for the Accounting of Tomorrow

Andernach, 28 November 2025: Around 50 participants from the kitchen and furniture industry came to the SHD office campus in Andernach on 26 November for the second SHD Accounting Day 2025. The full-day expert event addressed current challenges in accounting, from mandatory e-invoicing and digital workflows to integrated ERP solutions.

Focus on efficiency, security and regulatory requirements

The SHD Accounting Day offered visitors practical insights into digital accounting processes and modern IT support. Highlights included the latest version of the financial accounting software SHD perfacto 3, which stands out with optimised workflows and an intuitive design. Regulatory developments around mandatory e-invoicing, such as the German Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) requirements, XRechnung and ZUGFeRD, were also in focus and presented in a concise format.

Power BI as the new reporting solution

A highlight was the presentation of the new standard reporting solution based on Microsoft Power BI, the successor to the previous Cognos products. Together with its partner SIEVERS-Group, SHD demonstrated how SHD ECORO or SHD perfacto data can be turned into meaningful reports at the click of a mouse.

Open exchange and interactive formats

In interactive round-table sessions, participants could bring in their own topics, for example on interfaces, digital asset accounting or further development of SHD perfacto 3. The programme was complemented by an accompanying exhibition featuring additional solutions from the SHD portfolio, such as SHD ECORO (ERP for furniture retail) and SHD Connect (ERP for kitchen studios).

Industry-focused IT in dialogue
