SHD announces change in CTO role

Andernach, 26 June 2026: Ryan Bryers, Chief Technology Officer of the SHD Group, is leaving the company at his own request in order to focus his personal life more strongly on his family. Philipp von Criegern takes over the position with effect from 23 June 2026.

The SHD Group announces a change in its technology leadership: Ryan Bryers, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), is leaving the company. The company's technological development will in future be the responsibility of Philipp von Criegern as the new CTO.

During his time at SHD, Ryan Bryers provided important impetus for the technological realignment of the company. Under his responsibility, key decisions were made for the ongoing transformation, with a clear focus on modernisation, scalability and the future-readiness of the technology platforms. “Ryan accompanied SHD through an important phase of our development and drove the technological change forward with great clarity and consistency,” says Dietmar Meding, CEO of the SHD Group. “He created important foundations that we will continue to build on. For that, I thank him warmly, both personally and on behalf of the entire company.”

The departure is by mutual agreement and in mutual respect. The company's strategic direction and the ongoing technology initiatives will continue unchanged.

With Philipp von Criegern, an experienced technology manager takes over responsibility for the CTO role. He will continue to drive the technological development of the SHD Group, focusing in particular on scalability, platform strategy, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence.
