ANDERNACH, 6 January 2025: A significant milestone in the collaboration between NOVAMEDIATRAIN and SHD Kreative Planungs-Systeme GmbH: the training programme for kitchen consultants and kitchen sales specialists using the cloud-based planning software KPS.MAX is now state-certified and approved. With this certification by the State Central Agency for Distance Learning (ZFU), the training programme meets the highest educational and professional standards and opens up new prospects in skilled workforce qualification, now also for private individuals.
NOVAMEDIATRAIN and SHD have been working together successfully since 2022 to offer the industry innovative solutions for attracting skilled professionals. By combining NOVAMEDIATRAIN's modern distance learning concept with SHD's cutting-edge technology in KPS.MAX, a training programme was created that optimally blends theory and practice. With the new state certification, the partnership reaches a new level of quality. The certification not only guarantees methodologically and didactically reviewed content, it also stands out in the market: no other provider currently offers a state-certified distance learning programme with the option of using the state-of-the-art cloud kitchen planning software KPS.MAX free of charge alongside the training.
Marco Polcher, Head of Customer Service at SHD Kreative Planungs-Systeme GmbH, explains: “The state approval of the training programme, alongside the TUV Rheinland certification, confirms the high quality of the educational approach. By using KPS.MAX, we support practice-oriented training that ideally prepares both skilled professionals and career changers for the demands of the industry.”
A particular advantage of the state certification is the ability to offer the training directly to private individuals, including through funding programmes from the Federal Employment Agency. This flexibility opens up new opportunities for people interested in entering the kitchen industry.
Dirk Bender, Managing Director of NOVAMEDIATRAIN, adds: “With the state certification, we reach not only companies but also private individuals who are passionate about the kitchen market. Whether through the Federal Employment Agency or on their own initiative, we offer them high-quality, flexible and future-oriented training. This gives us direct access to the market and allows us to tap into new target groups.”
The KPS.MAX cloud solution plays a key role here: it enables participants to create practice-oriented plans while trainers monitor and assess them digitally. In addition, participants can use KPS.MAX free of charge for 6 months alongside their training.
The programme's success is already evident: on 28 November 2024, the first candidates successfully completed the state-certified training. The next examination date is planned for the end of January 2025. The collaboration between NOVAMEDIATRAIN and SHD is not standing still. A future innovation is already in the works: the integration of the 3D solution KPS.MAX vision into the oral final examination. This innovation could revolutionise the examination process and allow trainees to present their plans in a realistic virtual environment.
The state-certified training from NOVAMEDIATRAIN and the technological innovation from SHD create a sustainable learning model for the kitchen industry. The combination of quality, practical relevance and flexibility not only addresses the shortage of skilled workers but also opens the door to a promising industry for career changers and private individuals.
